Time for a Fresh Perspective

Ron Snell, the Executive Director of The Connection Homeless Shelter, Inc. for the past 11 years, notified the Board that he will be leaving his position by mid summer, 2012. "I can not think of a more interesting, rewarding and challenging job that this one," Snell says, "but it's time to let someone with new ideas and perspectives take over."

Snell's vision continues to be seeing the shelter as an integral part of the community in every way possible. The search committee shares this goal and is comprised of key leaders who are volunteering their time to ensure that the next director will not only provide leadership and vision within the shelter, but also outside the shelter amongst the community of which it is a part.
